Homecoming Part 1

Recently, after a long period apart, finally she came to my house. Due to her bintai mom no offense aunty) yang mempunyai philosophies yang pelik pelik, she had to come here by lrt. Thank God my parents are more open minded for now la.Haha. Anyway, I fetched her to my house and we spent the whole day dozing around, watching some movies and onlining (since her modem was spoilt). We didn't do anything much. We didn't even go out for a movie or a walk. Just spent some sweet time chatting and making up for the time we spent 2 months apart due to exams. But I think things will be better from here on because she had finished her course. But this is also an indicator that my time with her is being limited. She will be flying to Australia to further her education by the end of February 2010 =( Sigh.... Anyway, I still got a few months left. I will use this period to the maximun that's for sure.

Shopaholic Time! =P

After waited for along time, it finally arrived! It's that time of the year! It's the year end sales! For those who think that guys don't do shopping, think again. As a matter of fact, I found out recently that guys can actually shop more than gals. If you don't believe, try shopping with me, WanQing the mad dog and some of my super pro-shopping INTEC friends. However, the difference between a guy's shopping spree and a gal's is that guys will do a proper survey before buying while the gals will just splash the cash. Not trying to be a sexist here but that's very true. That's also why you always hear the guys say 'Aiya, no money to shop la today' padahal he is saving for sales like this. LOL. Anyway, I don't post this blog just to brag about a guy's shopping and a gal's. It's for those who don't really like to read newspaper but always wanted to find bargain items. Now this is what you really need to read because I am so kind to post it here so you guys don't have to go through all the hassle to find the 'real' Mega Sales, which is happening every end of the year. Before that, let me give you some advice on 'bargain hunting'. Since it's going to be December where retailers will start to do sales everywhere, where is the actual place to grab those items at a real cut-down price? To be honest, those Sales sign you see at shopping complexes are not really that cheap after all. They will just sell seasoned items at a 20% to 50% discount. This is because they still have to pay rental fees for their shops in those major shopping complexes and also for air cond services etc et. Now here's the trick. To really get cheap items, is to wait for a brand to do a WAREHOUSE SALES! This is when they really really slash those prices because they wanted to clear their stocks. But the experience of shopping at a warehouse will be very very different. Usually, you will get stuck in a jam because a lot of people will be rushing there. Then, there is this small area to shop which will be crowded and it will be freaking HOT! This is because they usually do this near their factory outlet or headquarters. It's not in a shopping complex. But not all though. Some brands will do it in certain shopping complexes where the rent will be cheap but DEFINITELY you can't find it in places like TS, MV or Pavi. Hahahaha. Ok. Enough of the crap. Let's go on to the main stuff. These are what I found recently:

After I came back from hostel, I realised I had lots of shows and movies that I ta pao from my fellow hostelites. I think this whole holiday also I can't finish watching it. Btw, these are what I have:

All my movies are in top quality and I am willing to share it because Chee Hoe is very kind and practise 'sharing is caring' culture =P Just bring your thumbdrive whenever you see me. Initially I thought that staying in hostel will eventually cost me a lot of latest shows and movies. But apparently what I thought was wrong. Since Cendana humans have no life here beside playing with cats (Audrey pls think straight I know what your bintai corrupted mind is thinking), they used their extremely high tech P1Wimax to download shows and movies. And since we stayed so near each other, we don't download shows that were downloaded by our fellow hostelites. So everything added up together will result in this many shows. And........... this is only a part of it. There are many more I didn't take because my super duper high tech laptop with 74 GB memory is full. There are also many TVB dramas but too bad I am not a fan of ah beng shows unlike my sis who is a fanatic.

Before I sign off to watch how Arsenal crash Sunderland after this, I would like everyone to take notice of a local up-and-coming band called Bunkface. I think this is the first time I liked a local band so much. Chec k out songs such as High School Rocker, Fine, Silly Lily, Prom Queen and their most commercialised and latest song, Through My Window. They are damn good!!!!

Watcha say

I thought life after exams are nice. But it doesn't that nice after all... My senior, who is bounded to NZ to study pharmacy, is so kind enough to give me all his books fro FREE!!! So basically I got tonnes of work to do to prepare for my 2nd semester since my course have the highest TER (Tertiary Entrance Rank). Sigh. Not only that, things don't seem to go smoothly as I expected. Initially, I though I will be having lotsa fun with friends and loved ones. But then everyone else had their own business to do. Human nature is very funny. When you wanted something, you fight very hard to get it. But when you acquired that particular thing already, you don't seem to appreciate it as much as you thought you would. All those things that you planned to do with it seem to b e futile. Lack of commitments, family time, transportation problem etc etc all indirectly have an effect on this. It's just too bad w e gotta deal we all this in life. Maybe these are what God gave us to prepare for an even harsher future. Well.... what I gotta do is just accept it as what it is. Complaints and sighing will just make it worse. Ok.... that's all I wana crap for this post. For those who don't understand, it's best you better don't cause you will only find pain in it. Just be happy and go on with your happy life and always look towards the brighter side, although the dark ones are things you will miss dearly in life =)

Back to business

It's been a hectic week for me but it finally ended and now I am back to blogging. Feels so good that my exams are over already. Did quite badly in my maths and screwed up my listening component in IELTS because I was already in the holiday mood that time. Sob. Anyway, no point crying over spilt milk. Now let me blog about what happened during my last week in INTEC. The highlight is a steamboat done by my fellow hostelites and I. Beofre I go into the steamboat, let me blog what I supposed to blog weeks ago. My classamtes and I went out for a jog in Shah Alam and we explored it by jogging without any direction. Thankfully, we managed to find our way back then. I didn't realised that Shah Alam can be this beautiful. All this while I thought it was a state full of pollution since it is the center of factories.

It's driving me crazy!

Fyi, I had been MIA for quite some time due to one thing and surprisingly...... it's about test and examinations. Currently, I am super duper stress with my maths because it had many apllication-type questions which is driving me CRAZY!!!!!!!!!! So what happened when you go crazy in INTEC?
